Pictures of a recent exhibition of carvings of 33 forms of Avalokitesvara, each carved in a single block of gingko wood. Ho Kil-yang is the recognized exponent ("living treasure") of the National Intangible Culture Asset number 108 (wood carving) since 2001. He was born in 1953 in Sungju (South Cholla Province).
