   Programs

      • Master's Program is open to students with bachelor degree in any field.

       • Ph.D. Program is for a limited number of students having master's degree.

      • Korea and East Asia

 The Korea and East Asia program offers an interdisciplinary course of study dealing with economics, politics, international relations, socio-cultural aspects and contemporary issues of East Asian countries (China, Jap-an, and Korea). The purpose of this program is training area specialists on these countries. Students may choose any of the three countries for their concentration, although specializing in more than a single country is possible. The courses are offered in English in principle, but possibly in each native language.

 

   Key Requirements for degree

       • Master's program   1) Thesis Option : 13 courses + Thesis (6 credits)

                                     2) Non-thesis Option : 15 courses

       • Ph.D. program : 15 courses + Comprehensive Exams + Thesis(No credits)

       • Grade Requirement : Grade Point average of at least 3.0(4.3 Scale)

       • At least two years(Four semesters) of full-time enrollment.

 

 Academic System

       • All courses are offered in English. (No evening courses offered)

       • 2 semesters(Spring and Fall semester) per 1 year System

       • Period of semester; Spring; from Mar. to Jun. / Fall: from Sep. to Dec.

       • Every courses is 3 credits and duration of 3 hours per week.
