            Public finance (urban infrastructure finance, political economy, public opinion and public choice)

 

            Local government finance (local taxes and tax administration, monitoring indicators of urban 
                finance and service delivery, design and implementation of decentralization, linkages 
                between urban planning and urban finance)

 

            Environmental economics (quantifying the impact of the degradation of urban environment, 
                analysis of the impact of government environmental budget, land-use regulations as an 
                environmental policy instrument, public perception of environmental problems and policies)
